The inauguration of the Institution’s Innovation Council, IIC was conducted on 30 th April 2021 at 1.30 p.m. through Microsoft Teams. The chief guest of the day was Mr. Amith Raman, CEO of Inker Robotic Solutions Pvt Ltd. The meeting started at 1.32 p.m. with a prayer. The guest was welcomed and Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan delivered the presidential address. Inauguration of IIC by displaying the certificate of establishment of IIC was done by Mr. Amith Raman. A brief description about IIC was presented by Ms. Parvathy G Menon, the president of IIC. The principal, Dr. Jenson P. O., Vice principals Dr. Rani M. J., and Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken felicitated. The official vote of thanks of the inaugural session was delivered by Dr. Preeji K. P. A talk by Mr. Amith Raman on the topic, “How to plan a start-up: Legal and ethical steps”, followed. In the talk, he briefly explained the various aspects of a start-up, how to manage the start-up, and the IPR and legal activities to be taken into consideration. The session concluded at 3.10 p.m. A total of 35 faculty members and 169 students attended the meeting.
