Association Inauguration
The Department of Computer Science and Application conducted its Association Inauguration for the academic year 2025–2026 on 21st November 2025 at the Seminar Hall of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous). The programme commenced at 10:00 AM with a prayer, seeking blessings for a successful academic year ahead.
The formal session began with a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. Renjith M., Head of the Department, who highlighted the significance of academic associations in fostering innovation, leadership, and collaborative learning among students.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan (Executive Director, SCAS), who emphasized the importance of aligning technical education with ethical values and emerging technological advancements.The departmental activities and achievements were presented through a brief Report Presentation by Ms. Jayamol P. James (Program Director, SCAS), showcasing milestones and planned initiatives for the academic year.The Principal, Dr. Joy K. L., addressed the gathering, commending the department’s efforts and encouraging students to utilize platforms like associations to explore new horizons in computing and technology.
The inauguration was carried out by the Chief Guest, Mr. Rosh R. Nair, CEO of Turqosoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Thapasya, Infopark, Kochi, followed by his inspiring Inaugural Address.Following the inauguration, Dr. Karuna K., Vice Principal, administered the Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly appointed association members.Felicitations were offered by Rev. Dr. Joji Kallingal, Associate Executive Director, appreciating the department’s proactive engagement in student development.The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Vysakh P. R., Association Secretary, expressing gratitude to dignitaries, faculty, and students.
