A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the NSS unit of Sahardaya College of Advanced Studies in collaboration with the IMA Blood Bank, Thrissur, on July 19, 2024. The camp was held in response to the increased demand for blood in blood banks due to the spread of dengue fever. Dr. Babu D. Parakal, the medical officer from the IMA Blood Bank, inaugurated the event. Twenty-six student volunteers readily donated blood, demonstrating their commitment to the well-being of society. The camp was led by NSS Programme Officer Jayakumar K. and student coordinator Chandrakanth Manoj.
