Education is not only following the curriculum but also developing social responsibility and environmental conservation. Focusing on these values, Department of Physics conducted a beach cleaning programme “BLUE HEAVEN” on 29th November 2024 at 12.00 pm at Perinjanam Beach. There were 21 students along with 3 faculty members who actively participated in the same. Students collected various plastic and waste materials near the beach which are harmful for marine life. The cleaning process continued for more than 3 hours. The local area people also encouraged the team and gave support for the same. The session wound up at 2.30 pm and the team returned to college.
