Learn in New Ways – Usage of Linways Sahrdaya AMS & OBE Implementation
The “Learn in New Ways” workshop focused on introducing the faculty of SCAS to the advanced features of Linways Sahrdaya AMS (Academic Management System) and the nuances of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The session was skillfully led by Mr. Renjith M., HOD of Computer Science, who shared insights on leveraging technology to streamline academic processes and ensure effective OBE implementation organized the department of computer science on 2nd December 2024 in the Lab 2 from 10 am to 4pm.
The workshop was conducted in three slots, each tailored to accommodate groups of faculty members for hands-on training. the objective of the session was to familiarize faculty members with the Linways Sahrdaya AMS interface,demonstrate the practical application of AMS for academic scheduling, attendance tracking, and report generation,provide a clear understanding of OBE principles and how to map course objectives to desired outcomes effectively and enable faculty members to implement OBE through the Linways platform seamlessly.
By the end of the day, participants left with a deeper understanding of AMS and the confidence to implement OBE methodologies in their teaching.100 faculty members fro SCAS had participated in the workshop.
