In connection with tribute to Sir C V Raman, Department of Physics conducted a documentary presentation on 28th November 2024 at 2 pm in the Room no: 305 (first year chemistry). The session started with a silent prayer. Aakash Mukesh (2nd year Physics) welcomed the gathering. Prof. Chandrasekharan K P, Head of Physics Department gave a talk on the innovation contributed by Sir C V Raman to the scientific field. Dheeraj P Kumar and Adith Sanjay ( 2nd year Physics) students presented a documentary on Sir C V Raman and his famous Raman effect spectrum. The session gave a clear understand on the same for the students. Feedbacks on the session were given by Jerit James (2nd year Mathematics) and Kasinathan C (2nd year Chemistry). The session was followed by a quiz competition and the winners were awarded prizes. An awareness talk related to scientific innovations was given by Ms. Esmi Davis (Assistant professor, Dept of physics). The session ended with a vote of thanks by Abishek Mukesh (2nd year Physics) at 3.10 pm.
