Collaboration of DiYES International School with SCAS

A teacher support training program of four hours was conducted in association with DiYES International School, Trivandrum on 20th May 2024. It was a pre training program as a result of collaboration of DiYES International School with IA401 Cambridge Assessment English Department at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara. As a result of collaboration, the CAE department has planned to conduct YLE Exams at DiYES International School in 2025.

            The objective of the program was to enhance teaching skills and strategies for effectively delivering the Cambridge English curriculum. The program was reviewed as a significant contribution to the professional development of DiYES’ teaching staff.

            Ms. Asha Sudheesh, Centre Exam Manager and HoD of CAE and HED department gave a detailed introduction on “Cambridge Assessment English”. A section on different CEFR levels, Cambridge exam formats, exam preparation and curriculum was conducted by Ms. Shero CS, faculty of CAE. Ms. Tresa Saritha Vargheese, faculty of English Department ended the program with an enlightening session on “the methodology of teaching” highlighting the changes required for new generation in their learning platform.
