The P.G. Department of Commerce organized the Commerce Association Inauguration 2025 on 6th December 2025 at 9:30 AM in the Central Auditorium. The event marked the formal commencement of the academic association activities for the year and served as a platform to inspire and empower commerce students through ideas, leadership, and academic collaboration.
The programme began with a soulful prayer by the College Choir, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Reshmi M. R., Coordinator – Finance Wing, who warmly greeted the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
The Report Presentation was delivered by Asst. Prof. Neethu Nazar, Programme Coordinator, who highlighted the achievements and activities of the previous year.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director of SCAS, who spoke on the importance of academic associations in enhancing student competencies. This was followed by the official Inauguration by the Chief Guest, Mr. Jeswin Jose, Senior Associate Director – HR, Big 4s, who later delivered a motivational Keynote Address emphasizing skill development, professional readiness, and career opportunities in the corporate sector.
The achievers of the department were honoured for their accomplishments, after which the Association Secretary Mr Akshay Shankar T V delivered the vote of thanks. The inaugural session concluded with a tea break, followed by plenary sessions, feedback collection, and the honouring of the guest. The event ended with the College Anthem and lunch.
