The PG Department of Commerce organized an Ideathon Competition on 19 February 2026 at 11:00 AM in Room No. 23 as part of the International Conference titled Vanijya Parivarthana. The competition was conducted under the theme Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) to encourage students to generate innovative ideas that address current environmental and social challenges while promoting responsible governance practices. The event was open to all students, and participation was allowed in teams with a maximum of four members. Prior registration was required, and the last date for registration was 18 February 2026. Each participating team was required to present their ideas through a PowerPoint presentation, enabling them to clearly explain their concepts, solutions, and implementation strategies.

The programme began with a brief introduction about the significance of ESG principles in modern business and society. Participants presented creative ideas focusing on sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical governance. The competition provided an opportunity for students to showcase their innovative thinking, research skills, and presentation abilities. Various teams actively participated and shared unique solutions related to environmental protection, social welfare, and responsible business practices. The judging panel evaluated the presentations based on originality, feasibility, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the theme. At the end of the competition, the best ideas were recognized and awarded. The first prize carried a cash award of Rs. 5000, and the second prize was awarded Rs. 2500. The event concluded successfully with appreciation for all the participants for their enthusiasm and creativity.
