Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized the Excellence Award 2025 on 30th May 2025 to
honor and celebrate the academic achievements of its students. The event aimed to recognize high
achievers, encourage a culture of diligence and ambition among the student community, and
provide a platform for intellectual exchange.
The event commenced at 10:00 AM, featuring a sequence of impactful addresses, award
ceremonies, and engaging sessions. Dr. Joy K. L., Principal of SCAS, welcomed all the dignitaries
present. Bishop Mar Pauly Kannookadan of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda delivered the Presidential
Address, emphasizing the importance of pairing academic excellence with moral and ethical values.
He inspired students to become leaders who serve society with integrity.
The event was officially inaugurated by Sri. T. J. Saneesh Kumar Joseph, Hon’ble Member of the
Kerala Legislative Assembly. In his Inaugural Address, he praised the college’s consistent
commitment to quality education and encouraged students to dream big and contribute to the
state’s development. Msgr. Wilson Erathara, Manager of the Sahrdaya Group of Institutions, also
welcomed the gathering with an encouraging message. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive
Director of SCAS, delivered a thought-provoking message highlighting the importance of choosing a
good institution and how students should make informed decisions about their higher education.
Prof. V. J. Thomas, Dean of International Affairs, addressed the audience, encouraging students to
pursue global academic and professional opportunities while upholding their values and ethics.
Dr. Karuna K., Vice Principal of SCAS, expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, staff, and students for
their contributions to the success of the event. She also congratulated the award winners and
urged them to continue striving for excellence. Mr. Jomy P. L., a renowned educator and career
expert, led an informative session on career development. He discussed emerging trends, higher
education prospects, and decision-making strategies for students.
As part of the professional programme, a student-led panel discussion was conducted. Selected
student achievers shared their success stories, study habits, and personal experiences, offering
peer motivation to the audience. Top-performing schools, Plus Two State and CBSE full A+ winners,and ICSE students who scored above 90% were awarded during the ceremony. A cultural programwas also organized by the students of SCAS. The event concluded with lunch and came to a close at
2:00 PM.
STAGE COMMITTEE REPORT
The Excellence Award Ceremony was held on 30th May 2025 at Sahrdaya College of Advanced
Studies to honor Plus Two students who secured full A+ in the board examinations. The stage
committee consisted of Dr. Sr. Jessy George, Mr. Robin, Ms, Aparna Satheesh, Ms. Keerthana
Mohandas, Ms. Anagha Gopidas, Ms. Farseena K G, Ms. Fida K, and Ms. Kathlyn Bennett. The
committee was in charge of stage decoration and bouquet preparation. The stage was decorated
beautifully, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for the event. Floral elements were
arranged thoughtfully to enhance the overall visual appeal. A total of eight bouquets were made by
the committee members. Fresh flowers were used, and each bouquet was neatly arranged and
wrapped, adding charm to the felicitation ceremony. These were presented to guests during the
program. The combined efforts of the team ensured that the stage setting matched the celebratory
spirit of the occasion.
SEATING ARRANGEMENT REPORT
To ensure the smooth execution of Excellence Award 25, held on May30, 2025, various committees
were formed. The Seating Arrangement Committee, convened by Ms. Ushakumari CC, comprised
members Ms. Surya PV, Ms. Nisha K, Ms. Reshmi Pratheesh, Ms. Reshma, Ms. Suchithra,Ms. Sheffy
and Ms. Anima, who worked diligently to organize the seating.
DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN EXCELLANCE EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2025-2026
The seating arrangement, in theatre style, faced the stage in the central auditorium. A total of 30
special chairs were reserved for VIPs and principals in the first row. The remaining seats were
arranged in 12 rows, with 30 chairs in each row (15 on either side), and small gaps after every 5
chairs for easy access.
To facilitate efficient seating, students from various schools were seated school-wise. The
committee collected school lists from the registration desk and arranged seats accordingly. Spot-
registered students were accommodated in the last two rows. A separate row was designated for
school teachers, followed by five rows for parents.To maintain order during the prize distribution
ceremony, students were called to receive their prizes according to their seating arrangement.
CULTURAL PROGRAMME COMMITTE REPORT
As part of the Excellence Award function held on May 30th 2025, there was a cultural programme
by the students of Sahardhaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara. A 15-minute musical
performance was presented by Nandhana K.B of II BCA , KA Joyel of II BCom ACCA, and Adwaith
Krishna of II BCA.
