INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF BCA,BSC CS & BSC IT 2024-2028 BATCH
On 6th January 2026, 45 second-year BCA,On 13th January 2026, 43second-year BSC CS ,On 13th January 2026, 42 second-year BSC IT students from the 2024–2028 batch visited Inker Robotics, Thrissur as part of an industrial visit programme. The primary objective of this visit was to expose students to real-world applications of robotics and automation and to demonstrate how computer science principles are integrated into modern robotic technologies.
During the visit, students experienced Virtual Reality (VR) technology, which provided insights into immersive virtual applications used in robotics, simulation, and automation training. An interactive one-hour session with industry experts was conducted, during which students were introduced to the latest advancements, trends, and innovations in robotics and automation.
The industrial tour offered an in-depth understanding of the processes involved in the designing, assembling, programming, and testing of robotic components and systems. Students gained knowledge about industrial workflows, safety practices, and quality control measures followed in a professional robotics environment.
Hands-on demonstrations enabled students to relate their classroom learning to real-world scenarios, particularly in areas such as robotic control systems, programming interfaces, sensors, and automation techniques. The visit also highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary skills combining software development, electronics, and mechanical design.
The programme concluded with a question-and-answer session, where students received valuable insights regarding career opportunities, skill requirements, internships, and future prospects in the robotics and automation industry. The visit ended with the distribution of participation certificates, making the industrial visit a highly informative and enriching learning experience for the students.
