The Postgraduate Department of English organized a one-day International Conference titled “Synesthetic Visions: The Interplay of Art, Literature, and Imagination” on 10 December 2025, aiming to explore the dynamic intersections of literature, visual arts, and imagination in a multimedia-driven world. Despite logistical challenges due to state election holidays, the conference witnessed active academic engagement with 38 registered participants and 29 paper presentations conducted in both online and offline modes. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, with keynote and plenary sessions led by Dr. Kathryn Myers (USA) and Dr. Pradosh Kumar Mishra (BHU), who offered insightful perspectives on visual storytelling, cultural identity, and intermedial artistic practices. The conference also featured a virtual session on Fulbright Fellowships, fostering awareness of global academic opportunities. With the release of conference proceedings, interdisciplinary discussions, and meaningful scholarly exchange, the event successfully promoted innovative research and deeper understanding of synesthetic aesthetics, concluding with a valedictory session that reaffirmed the transformative power of art–literature interplay.
