Intro to Google Gemini 2.0 Flash – Build with AI – Training Program
The IT Club of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, in association with the Department of Computer Science and Applications and ICT Academy of Kerala, organized a hands-on training session titled “Intro to Google Gemini 2.0 Flash – Build with AI” under the India Edu Program by Google for Developers. The program was held on 10th November 2025 in the college computer labs and was conducted in two batches to accommodate more than 100 student participants.
The session focused on providing students with a foundational and practical understanding of Google Gemini 2.0, an advanced generative AI model. Participants actively engaged in hands-on exercises using Vertex AI and the Google Gen AI SDK for Python, enabling them to interact with the Gemini API to develop intelligent applications. This ensured an applied learning environment where students could experience real-world AI development processes.
The training also offered Google Cloud credits worth USD 5 to each participant, which encouraged further self-learning and experimentation beyond the session. The flexible structure and learner-centric approach ensured maximum interaction and skill acquisition.
