Report of the National Mathematics Day celebration
As part of the National Mathematics Day celebration, the Department of Mathematics, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), Kodakara, organized a Mathematics Quiz on 19th December 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Aula Magna. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.
The quiz comprised multiple rounds covering diverse areas of mathematics, including basic concepts, logical reasoning, aptitude-based questions, and mathematical puzzles. The event was designed to test not only the participants’ knowledge but also their speed, accuracy, and analytical skills. Participants actively engaged in the competition, creating an atmosphere of excitement and intellectual curiosity. The audience also showed keen interest and actively supported the teams throughout the programme.
