Nature club in association with IQAC conducted Millet awareness programme in connection with international millet year in the Central auditorium on 08/12/2023 at 12.30 pm. The nature club members introduced products of millets and given overview of millets, its importance, availability, recipe and the life style/food pattern which have to follow. The nature club members prepared mixed-millet payasam with raggi, little millet, jowar, pearl millet, brown top millet, kodo millet. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Exe. Director SCAS inaugurated the session. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal SCAS pointed out the importance of millets in his message. The Millet payasam fest inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Anto vattoly (Finance Officer). The Student Coordinator Nanthitha (2rd year B.Sc. Psychology) proposed the vote of thanks. The millet fest was highly inspiring and motivating.
