The Department of Social Work, in association with the Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS), IQAC, and the Research Development Cell of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies,(Autonomous) organized the National Conference RESONANCE 2026 on 13th February 2026 on the theme “Integrated Health Approaches for an Inclusive Society: Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Practices.”The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Ms. Albia Mary George, HoD, Department of Social Work,SCAS .The Presidential Address was delivered by Fr. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director,SCAS and was followed by the Principal’s message by Dr. Joy K. L., Principal,SCAS. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Anish K. R., Associate Professor, Department of Social Work, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences,Kalamassery.

The keynote sessions included Dr. Anish K. R. presenting on “Evolving Roles and Trends in Healthcare Social Work” and Ms. Sindhu Nambiath, Director – Impact & Customer Success, Nusocia, Noida, speaking on “Applying Public Health Principles in Community-Based Health Interventions.”
The conference featured thirty paper presentations in parallel technical sessions, chaired by Mr. Arun Marath (UGC-SRF) and Dr. M. K. Preetha Menon, Assistant Professor,SCAS. A quiz and collage competition were also conducted successfully. The conference provided a vibrant platform for academic exchange, research dissemination, and professional collaboration in the field of integrated health and social work. A total of 95 students participated in the programme.
