National Seminar and Conference on Emerging Trends in Information Technology 2.O

The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized the National Seminar and Conference on Emerging Trends in Information Technology 2.0 on the 14th of March, 2025. The event brought together eminent academicians, researchers, and students to discuss and present advancements in the field of Information Technology.
The program commenced at 9:30 AM with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Mr. Renjith M., Assistant Professor and Head of the Computer Science Department. The presidential address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies.
The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Shibu K. Mani, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. The inaugural address set the tone for the day’s discussions on emerging trends and technological innovations.
Distinguished speakers addressed the gathering, including Dr. Justin Joy, Associate Professor, School of Business and Management, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, and Dr. Saravanan V. M., Assistant Professor, Department of Animation and Virtual Reality, School of Computer Science and IT, Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
The principal address was delivered by Dr. Joy K. L., Principal of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, and the felicitation was offered by Dr. Karuna K. Nair, Vice Principal of the institution.
The event featured three insightful keynote sessions:

- Keynote 3: Dr. Saravanan V. M.
Parallel paper presentation sessions were held in the AV Room, providing a platform for researchers and students to showcase their work.
The closing ceremony began at 3:15 PM with the honoring of the chief guest, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan. Certificates were distributed by Dr. Joy K. L., Principal of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Jayamol P. James, Assistant Professor and Programme Director at SCAS.
