Observation of Suicide Prevention Day 2024
Department of Social Work and National Service Scheme Unit 291 in association with Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur organized Expert forum as a part of Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2024 at Seminar Hall, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara. Dr. Vineeth Chandran, Assistant Professor and Psychiatrist of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur lead the discussion on the theme Changing the Narrative on Suicide. The Program was presided by Dr. Karuna K, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara. The Students of Department of Social Work, Psychology and NSS Volunteers participated in the Programme.
First Semester students of MSW presented a flash mob in the college with the aim creating awareness on the prevention of society in the community.
