The NSS volunteers of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara conducted an old age home visit on 2nd August 2022 to “THANAL VEEDU” run by Daya Rehabilitation Trust at Varandarapilly, Thrissur. The students took the initiative to make a pookkalam at Thanal veedu as a present for the members. The volunteers and the residents interacted each other..
The students sang old songs for the residents and made them happy and wished them a happy Onam. In the afternoon, the NSS volunteers had arranged the food for the residents and had the lunch along with them. After that the residents and the NSS volunteers had a gathering, there the residents had surprised as with their participation by singing. A total of 20 NSS volunteers and 6 MSW students participated in the programme.
