The PG Department of Commerce organized a panel discussion titled “Career Opportunities in a Globalized Business World: A Professional Dialogue Between CA, CMA, and CS Experts” on 6th December 2025 at 11:15 AM in the Seminar Hall. The session brought together professional experts representing CA, CMA, and CS domains, including Jojo John Chungath, CA Rajesh, and CA Rajmohan R, who shared their insights on career prospects in today’s competitive global business environment.
The event commenced with a silent prayer, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Anusha Benny (III B.Com Professional CHA). She highlighted the relevance of professional courses and introduced the theme of the session.
The introduction of panel members was done by Ms. Anjali Anand (III B.Com Professional CHA), who also served as the moderator of the panel discussion.
The panel discussion featured engaging conversations on emerging opportunities for commerce graduates, the growing demand for professional qualifications, and the importance of aligning academic learning with global industry expectations. Each expert shared their career journey, challenges, and the evolving role of professionals in a rapidly changing business environment. The session opened the platform for a meaningful Q&A and open forum, where students interacted with experts to gain clarity on examinations, career planning, skill development, and industry exposure.
Following the interactive session, feedback was collected from the participants. The panel members were honoured by Dr. Hanna Joseph (Associate HoD, PG Department of Commerce) for their valuable contributions. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Aleena Baby (I B.Com Professional CHA), expressing gratitude to the experts, faculty, and participants.
