The PG Department of Commerce of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, organized a special programme in connection with World Financial Planning Day and World Investor Week Celebration on Friday, September 26th, from 1:30 PM to 3:05 PM at the Decennial Hall. The event was held under the theme “Plan Today, Secure Tomorrow” and was led by Ms. Jisha Sivadasan, CFP Coordinator.
The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of financial planning and responsible investment practices. It sought to promote financial literacy and to encourage individuals to make informed financial decisions that contribute to long-term financial security and well-being.
The session began with a brief introduction to the objectives of World Financial Planning Day and World Investor Week, highlighting their global relevance in promoting financial education and investor protection. Ms. Jisha Sivadasan delivered an engaging and informative talk on the necessity of financial planning in personal life. She discussed how careful planning, budgeting, saving, and investing can help individuals achieve financial stability and prepare for future uncertainties.
