Nature club in association with IQAC conducted a talk on western Ghats- The shield of Kerala at seminar hall on 02/11/2023 at 11 am. The program was started with a prayer. The program was started with a prayer. Welcome speech was extended by Ms. Rosalind Manjooran, joint convenor nature club. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Exe. Director SCAS presided over the function. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal SCAS pointed out how western Ghats influencing Kerala climate. The chief guest was Ms. Aiswarya V. Jayan, Beat Forest Officer, Kerala Forest and Wild Life Department, enlightened the students about Buffer zones, current reports regarding western Ghats, how western Ghats protecting us etc. The session was highly inspiring and motivating. The felicitation was done by Dr. Jeshma. P, Convenor nature club. Student Coordinator Deva Prabha (2rd year B.Sc. Psychology) proposed the vote of thanks.
