SAMAAVESH 2K25, organized by Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), Kodakara, Thrissur, was conducted on 22 December 2025 in observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The programme aimed to promote inclusivity, empathy, and social responsibility while providing a meaningful platform for differently-abled students to showcase their talents. Students and teachers from Madonna Special School, Potta; Asha Bhavan Special School, Annamanada; and Cyrene Special School, Kodunga activelyparticipated, with a total of 155 students and 20 teachers in attendance. The event reflectedthe institution’s vision “Ever to Excel” by emphasizing dignity, equality, and human values,and was generously sponsored by the Rotary Club of Thrissur Elite (Rotary District 3205).
The programme was successfully executed through the coordinated efforts of various committees comprising faculty convenors, joint convenors, and student coordinators under the leadership of Ms. Carolin Antony (Convenor), Adith Sanjay (Student Convenor), and Dr. Joy K. L. (Principal). Committees such as Reception, Food and Refreshment, Venue Arrangements, Stage and Programme, Games, Discipline, Technical, Photography, Publicity, Prize Distribution, and Compering ensured smooth planning, systematic execution, and inclusive participation throughout the event. From warm reception and cultural performances to games, media outreach, technical support, and dignified prize distribution, every aspect of the programme was handled efficiently. The collective dedication of faculty members,student volunteers, and supporting organizations contributed significantly to the success of Samaavesh 2K25, making it a memorable and impactful celebration of inclusivity and compassion.
