Department of Physics conducted a workshop on virtual lab for science students in SCAS on 7th February 2025 in Computer lab 1 at 10 am onwards. The official inaugural session started with a silent prayer. Prof. K P Chandrasekharan, HOD, Department of Physics welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS presided over the session. He congratulated the faculty members for arranging such an innovative session for students and also reminded students about the importance of such sessions and also the real scenario of AI. Dr. Joy K L (Principal), SCAS delivered Principal’s message. The session was inaugurated by Ms.Drisya M K, Assistant professor, Department of ECE , Jyothi Engineering college, Cheruthuruthy. Mementos, as a token of love, were gifted to the resource persons, Ms.Drisya M K and Ms. Ambily Francis by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan and Dr. Joy K L.The formal session concluded with vote of
thanks by Sidharth K S, Association Secretary.
After the inaugural session, workshop session started and it was led by Ms. Drisya M K and Ms. Ambily Francis, the resource persons. They interacted with students and discussed various experiments related to Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Neurology etc. Students were full of interest and explored the various fields. The session continued for 2 hours. Sona S Nair (III BSc Chemistry), Ann (II BSc Geology), Archana (II BSc Mathematics), Sweta Anil (I BSc Chemistry) and Annie Grace (III BSc Physics) gave feedback on virtual lab session. The entire session was compered by Arathi K A (III BSc Physics). The session ended at 12.30 pm.
