Reindeers – Christmas Celebration
With a mission to spread joy and compassion, the NSS Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized a heartwarming Christmas celebration at Snehalayam Mental Rehabilitation Centre, Pattikkad, and the Thrissur District Pain and Palliative Care Society. The event aimed to blend knowledge with entertainment, rooted in the spirit of kindness and giving.The festivities were inaugurated by the College Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, setting the tone for a meaningful day. NSS volunteers added a festive charm with their vibrant Christmas carols, engaging cultural performances, and the distribution of thoughtful gifts and delicious cakes. Volunteer Secretaries Poornima Shankar and Milan Manoj led the initiative with dedication and enthusiasm. The celebration was not just about spreading Christmas cheer but also about imparting life lessons beyond the classroom. The event received unwavering support from the college leadership, including Principal Dr. Joy K.L., Finance Officer Fr. Anto Vattoli, and Vice Principal Dr. Karuna K., who actively participated alongside the students. Their presence underscored the institution’s commitment to holistic education and social responsibility. This celebration stood as a testament to the NSS Unit’s mission of creating a meaningful impact in the community while fostering the values of empathy, care, and togetherness among students.
