The Future is Female: Unlocking Digital Potential
The IT Club of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized a two-day workshop titled “The Future is Female: Unlocking Digital Potential” on the 3rd and 4th of March 2025 in connection with Women’s Day. This workshop aimed at empowering women through IT training, providing valuable insights and practical skills in the world of technology. It was designed to cater to both beginners and those looking to enhance their existing technical skills, with expert trainers guiding the participants. The event took place in the Computer Lab and was a significant step towards encouraging women’s participation in digital and technological fields.
The workshop served as a strong platform for girls to unlock their digital potential in Ms Word and PowerPoint and take a confident step toward technological literacy and innovation.Ms.Jayamol P.James of computer science department had taken the session in the hands on workshop.
Around 30 Students from Psychology,BBA,Malayalam,Commerce,Chemistry department were participated in the workshop. The initiative was well-received, with participants expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity to grow their skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
This workshop marked a significant step in promoting women’s empowerment through education and technology, aligning with the spirit of Women’s Day by encouraging female participation and excellence in the digital domain.Towards the end of the workshop Dr.Sheeba M.B Dean of Science ,Mr.Renjith M.IT Club Convenor and Ms Aradhikra T.V Convenor of Clubs and Cells had addressed the students.Ms.Fidhya from Psychology department shared her feedback about the workshop
