As part of the Hindi Day celebration, the Western Eastern Language Department conducted a Hindi Assembly on 16th September 2025. Assembly started with a Hindi prayer. Kalyani Sreekumar, a student of the 3rd semester of BCom ACCA, recited the Bhagavad Gita. Anet Maria, a student of the 3rd semester of BCom ACCA B, introduced a new Hindi word with its meaning. Ancilin Shaji. 1st Semester BCom CMA A US student spoke about the importance of education as today’s thought. Aliya Kulsum S, a student of 3rd Semester BCom ACCA B, told about the importance of the Hindi language. Executive Director Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan awarded prizes to Kalyani Sreekumar (3rd Sem BCom ACCA B), who secured the first prize; Sivaraj P R (1st Sem BSc Computer Science), who secured the second prize; and Sona Chungath Antos (3rd Sem BCom ACCA B), who secured the third prize in the Hindi film song competition held as part of the Hindi Day Celebration. Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, delivered a message to students. The Assembly concluded with the national anthem. The assembly was anchored by Anjali Anand, a 3rd-semester BCom Professional student.
