Hands-on Training in Artificial Intelligence
The Department of Computer Science and Applications, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), Kodakara, Thrissur, organized a hands-on on Friday, 19th September 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Seminar Hall.
The session was exclusively arranged for the students of BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, and B.Sc. Information Technology (2024 batch). The program started with prayer and Ms Gilna Mariaof 2nd Bsc IT introduce the resource persons. Around 121 students were in the training program The resource persons for the session were Ms. Ann Mary, Software Associate, Riss Technologies and Mr. Shijo John K, Project Manager, Riss Technologies
The session aimed to provide students with practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, and applications, thereby bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practices.The experts introduced the students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and provided practical exposure to its applications. The interactive nature of the session helped students gain an in-depth understanding of AI techniques and tools.
The hands-on training program on Artificial Intelligence was a highly enriching experience for the 2024 batch students of BCA, B.Sc. CS, and B.Sc. IT. The resource persons effectively combined theoretical insights with practical sessions, enabling students to enhance their skills and understanding of AI. The program served as a stepping stone for students to explore AI-driven innovations and equipped them with the knowledge required for their academic and professional growth.
