The Department of Computer Science and Applications, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), in association with KGiSL, Coimbatore, organized a 30-hour Internship on HTML5 and Responsive Design Techniques from 3 November 2025 to 7 November 2025. The program was conducted for first-year students of BSc Computer Science, BSc Information Technology, BSc Artificial Intelligence, and BCA. The sessions were held in Computer Labs 1, 2, and 3 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This internship aimed to provide foundational and practical exposure to web development, focusing on building structured webpages using HTML5, enhancing visual presentation using CSS3, and developing responsive and mobile-friendly layouts with Bootstrap. Students were guided through hands-on activities where they designed and developed multiple web pages and mini interfaces.
The internship provided an excellent platform for first-year students to gain practical exposure in modern web designing. The hands-on approach strengthened their technical understanding while motivating them to explore further in front-end development. The collaborative sessions also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and user-centered design thinking.
