The Placement Cell of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, organized a Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with the Goan Institute International Consociation of Education (GICE) on 19 January 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall.
The programme was conducted with the objective of providing students with employment opportunities and enhancing their professional skills. A large number of interested students participated in the recruitment drive and actively engaged in the different stages of the selection process.
The recruitment session began with a pre-placement talk, where representatives from GICE introduced the organization, explained the nature of the job roles, and provided an overview of the career opportunities available for students.
The selection process consisted of several stages designed to evaluate the communication skills, creativity, and confidence of the candidates. The recruitment schedule included:

Pre-Placement Talk – Introduction to the organization and job roles.

Screening Round – Self-introduction by each candidate (1 minute).

Writing Task – A written activity conducted for 15 minutes to assess communication and writing skills.

Speaking Task – A 15-minute session to evaluate the speaking ability and confidence of the candidates.
The students participated enthusiastically and showcased their communication abilities, creativity, and confidence throughout the recruitment process.
The programme was successfully coordinated by the Placement Cell, with the support of faculty members. The management and faculty appreciated the efforts taken by the Placement Cell in organizing the drive and providing students with valuable career opportunities.
