The NSS Unit 291 of the college in collaboration with Department of Social Work observed World Environment Day through a series of environmental conservation activities conducted from 2 June to 6 June 2026. As part of the observance, a Cleaning Drive was organized at Puliparakkunnu on 2 June 2026. The programme was inaugurated by Ward Member Ms. Smitha, and the Principal, Dr. Joy K. L., felicitated the gathering. On 5 June 2026, a Seed Ball Making activity was conducted and inaugurated by Dr. Joy K. L. Approximately 60–70 seed balls were prepared by the NSS volunteers. On 6 June 2026, the prepared seed balls were deposited at Nagaravanam Park, Nayarangadi, Chalakudy, in collaboration with Divisional Forest office, Chalakudy,as part of the afforestation initiative.
