The Department of Physics, in association with IQAC, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, organized a Digital Poster Making Competition in connection with National Energy Conservation Day. The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of energy conservation and to encourage students to adopt sustainable energy practices. National Energy Conservation Day is observed to highlight the need for efficient energy use and to motivate individuals to follow practices that help reduce energy consumption. As part of this initiative, the Department of Physics organized a creative competition to engage students in thoughtful reflection on the theme of energy conservation. The event received an enthusiastic response from participants, who showcased impressive creativity and awareness through their posters. The posters effectively communicated important messages such as:

Turning off electrical appliances when not in use

Promoting solar and other renewable energy sources

Adopting sustainable lifestyle practices
The designs were visually appealing and reflected the students’ understanding of environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. A total of 9 entries were received for the competition. The winners are as follows:
