On 12th November 2025, students from the Department of Mathematics ,Physics ,Chemistry and Geology at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, visited Shalom Sadan, located in Perinjanam, Thrissur. Shalom Sadan is a social service society dedicated to supporting children undergoing treatment for autism. The visit aimed to engage with the children at Shalom Sadan and bring some joy to their daily routine. The students participated in simple activities designed to interact with the children, fostering an environment of learning, fun, and care. In addition to the activities, the students donated a small amount of money to Shalom Sadan to support their future programs and initiatives. The contribution was made with the hope of helping the organization continue its good work in supporting children with autism and other needs. The visit to Shalom Sadan helped students develop a sense of empathy and responsibility towards others, particularly those with special needs. It allowed them to understand the importance of community service and gave them a chance to contribute to a good cause. The students also learned valuable life skills like teamwork, communication, and social awareness, which arefor their personal and academic growth. Overall, the activity promoted the idea of helping others and made the students more socially responsible individuals.
