As a part of best practices, the Department of Mathematics has been conducting a monthly programme titled “Meet a Great Mathematician”, with the aim of familiarizing students with great mathematicians and their contributions to the field of mathematics. This initiative provides students with insight into the historical development of mathematical ideas and the lives of renowned mathematicians. On 4th July, 2025, at 1:30 PM, the department organized the latest session of this programme in Room No. 302. Anay N S, student of sixth semester Mathematics presented a detailed and insightful presentation about Leonardo Fibonacci, a prominent European mathematician of the Middle Ages.
