The PG Department of Psychology and the Placement Cell, in association with the IQAC, organized a programme titled “Preparing for the Future: Higher Studies and Scholarship Awareness – 2026” on 2 March 2026 at Aula Magna from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The programme aimed to create awareness about higher education opportunities, scholarship options, and global education prospects while guiding students in planning their academic and career pathways. The participants included second-year MSc Psychology students and second-year undergraduate Psychology students. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by an introduction by Fathimath Zehra M R and a welcome address by Ms. Riya T J, Faculty of the Department of Psychology. The session was presided over and inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Joji Kallingal, Executive Director of SCAS, and felicitated by Mr. Suresh A K, Head of the Department of Psychology. The resource person, Ms. Sruthy Francis, Senior Academic Associate at Jerry’s Educare, delivered an informative session on higher education opportunities, scholarships, and studying abroad, which was highly interactive with active student participation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Carolyn Antony, Placement Cell Officer, and feedback was presented by Nisari, second-year MSc Clinical Psychology student, highlighting the usefulness of the session in helping students understand higher education and scholarship opportunities for their future academic and professional development.
