Department of Social Work has organised Resilience 2026 – Two days workshop on Counselling Skills for second semester and Fourth semester MSW students on 6 th and 7 th of March 2026. Dr. Soyuz John, Associate Professor of Psychiatric Social Work at Department of Psychiatry at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal was the Resource person for the Program. The Workshop focused on enhancing skills and knowledge in Counselling practice and gained hands on training on assessment, interventions in counselling, professional ethics, and integrity in counselling practice. Thirty-one students participated in the workshop.
