Resonance 2025 – National Conference
Department of Social in collaboration with Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) has organised one day National Conference Resonance 2025 on the theme Enhancing Quality of Life in Ageing: Approaches to Geriatric Well-being on 6th February 2025. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies inaugurated the Conference. Dr. Joy K L presided the Inagural Function. Dr. Karuna K, Vice Principal, Dr. Sanil Raj, Dean of Arts, Mr. Leo Rajan, KAPS President Thrissur Chapter, Albia Mary George, Head of the Department and Delia, Assistant Professor spoke during the Inaugural function.
Dr. Sojan Antony, Consultant in Adult Psychiatry & Additional Professor, Department of Psychiatric Social Work, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and Prof. K. S. Shaji MD, Dean (Research) & Director, State Resource Centre for Older People, Kerala University of Health Science, Thrissur has lead the technical session for the conference. Around 100 students participated in the conference. Nearly 20 papers were presented for the paper presentation.
