The Department of Social Work organized a community programme, SPARSH, on “Women and Health” in collaboration with SWASTH (Social Work Student Association of Sahrdaya) and Restart Studies Skill Centre. The programme was held at Anganwadi, Pulipparakkunnu, and conducted an interactive session on menstrual health led by Dr. Sneha, an Ayurveda expert from Restart Studies Skill Centre. Around 20 participants including adolescent girls and women from Kodakara Panchayath and 30 MSW students attended the programme.

Dr. Sneha, Resource Person and Ayurvedic Doctor inaugurated the Prograame. Ms. Bindu, Anganwadi Teacher,  ASHA Worker, Representatives of SWASTH and Faculties of Department of Social Work spoke during the function. Dr. Sneha conducted an interactive session on “Menstrual Health,” which included Demonstrations using props and artificial moulds, menstrual hygiene.
