On 19th and 20th November 2024, the Social Work students of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies attended a two-day training on Climate Change at the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA), Mulankunnathukaavu. The sessions were conducted from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and included interactive and practical activities such as brainstorming sessions, engaging games, and a transect walk to enhance experiential learning. A total of 35 students participated in the training, accompanied by two faculty members. The program was led by Dr. Sinta, faculty at KILA, and Mr. Sanju K S, Project Coordinator of Bring Back NGO, Trivandrum, who served as the resource persons. Their insights provided students with a deeper understanding of climate change, its implications, and practical approaches to addressing environmental challenges.
