WORLD ASTEROID DAY: ASTEROIDX POWER POINT PRESENTATION COMPETITION

In connection with World Asteroid Day celebration, Department of Physics conducted 
a power point presentation competition on 16th July 2025 at 10 am in Aula Magna, SCAS. 
The session started with an awareness talk by Ms. Esmi Davis, Assistant Professor, 
Department of Physics. Student co-ordinator, Adith Sanjay briefed about the rules and 
regulations of the competition. There were 13 participants in the competition. Ms. Sumi 
Thomas, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics served as the judge for the 
competition. The winners were honoured in the assembly.

Prize list: 
1. First prize: Pavan P V & Sandra Shaju (III BSc Geology) 
2. Second prize: Sona S Nair & Anjana K Santhosh (III BSc Chemistry) 

3. Third prize: Ann Mariya & Angelet (III BSc Mathematics)
