Department of Social Work in association with Kerala Association of Professional Social, Thrissur Chapter organized three day District level training for students of Master of Social Work Programme for the conduct of Annual Status of Education Report (2024) initated by Pratham Foundation Mumbai. The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) is a nationwide survey that assesses the education and learning outcomes of children in rural India. The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyaden, Executive Director, SCAS, Kodakara. Dr. Joy K L, Principal, Dr. Karuna K Nair, Vice Principal; Leo Rajan, President, KAPS Thrissur Chapter spoke during the function.
Amal V Anil and Muhammed Badsha were the Master Trainers who led the Three-day training programme. Ms. Shradha Nediyedath and Ms Mariya Thomas ASER Research Associates were also guiding the students. 33 students participated in the training programme and 30 village panchayats of Thrissur District has been surveyed in following days.
