In connection with the National Reading Day (June 19) the Postgraduate Department of English successfully conducted READ-A-THON, a 1-minute reading competition, on 24th June 2025. The event began at 2:20 PM in the III BA English classroom and concluded by 3:05 PM.
Ms Roselyn Alex, Assistant Professor & Department Programme Director, was the faculty coordinator and Gayathri Ravindranath of II year BA English, the student coordinator. Fourteen participants showcased their reading skills with spontaneity and enthusiasm. The judging panel comprised Ms Sheena Sarah Winny, Head of the Department of English, and Ms Shero C.S., Assistant Professor, CAE, who evaluated the participants based on clarity, fluency, expression, and confidence.
