The P.G. Department of Commerce organised the first session of the Extension Lecture Series exclusively for Finance students on 18th November 2025. The lecture was handled by Ms. Aditya L V, Master DS, M.Tech (Communication Engineering), and Business Analytics Specialist at Miles Education. The purpose of the session was to introduce students to the practical relevance of data-driven decision-making in finance and to expand their understanding of analytics applications in the financial domain.
The programme commenced at 11:00 AM and brought together Finance students to gain insights from an expert in Business Analytics. The resource person explained emerging analytical tools, the role of data science in financial modelling, and the importance of skill development for future employability. The interactive session also allowed students to clarify doubts and understand industry expectations more clearly. The programme concluded at 12:45 PM.
