The PG Department of Commerce, in association with the Centre for Financial Learning, FPSB India, and the TMA Student Chapter, organized an insightful talk on the topic “Importance of Financial Planning in Personal Life” on 8th October 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, Thrissur. The event was conducted as part of the World Financial Planning Day and World Investor Week Celebration.
The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Jackson David C, FCS, CFP, Founder Partner of Navion Wealth, who served as the resource person for the day. The talk began with a warm welcome by the faculty and student coordinators, followed by an introduction of the guest speaker. The speaker, an expert in financial planning and wealth management, delivered a comprehensive and engaging session on the importance of managing personal finances effectively.
During his address, Mr. Jackson David emphasized the critical role that financial planning plays in achieving one’s life goals. He elaborated on the significance of budgeting, saving, investing, and managing risks through insurance and other financial instruments.
