An orientation session was conducted on 4th July 2025 for the final year students of FinTech, EA, and CMA (Ind) streams. The programme commenced with a prayer, setting a solemn tone for the event. Dr. Karuna K., Head of the Department of Commerce, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of early career planning and awareness about specialized career paths.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Anju Davis, a renowned expert in the field, who provided an insightful presentation covering current industry trends, emerging roles in finance and accounting, and the scope of FinTech, EA, and CMA certifications in both national and global job markets. She also guided the students on essential skills and certifications that would enhance employability and career advancement.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the student representative, acknowledging the valuable input provided by the speaker and the support from the department.
