The PG Department of Psychology, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, successfully organized an Alumni Talk (Bridge Course) on the topic “Building a Professional Identity as a Psychologist” to provide students with valuable insights into the transition from academic learning to professional practice.
The session was delivered by Ms. Silpa M.A., Counselling Psychologist at Ahalia Health, Heritage & Knowledge Village, Palakkad, an esteemed alumna of the department. Drawing from her academic and professional experiences, she shared practical guidance on developing a strong professional identity, cultivating ethical practice, enhancing essential counselling skills, and preparing for diverse career opportunities in psychology.
