Department of Geology, in association with IQAC, organized a fun-filled and educational competition titled “Diamond Hunt” on 25th August 2025 from 12.00 p.m to 3:30 p.m, in connection with “Commemorative Observance of Georges Cuvier’s birth anniversary”. The activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and the application of geological concepts in a creative way. Students from various batches actively participated, demonstrating enthusiasm and a keen understanding of the subject. A Total of 20 teams participated in the preliminary round, which will be held in the seminar hall. After the preliminary round, 4 teams were selected for the final round competition. Each team received an initial clue related to geological concepts, minerals, rocks, or structures. The programme concluded with the announcement of winners (Mr. Kasinathan, (Dept. of Chemistry), Ms. Ann MAriya & Mr. Anai (Dept. of Mathematics)). The Winners were received cash prizes from Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Exec. Director during the college assembly.
