KOLE WETLAND VISIT

The Department of Geology, in association with the IQAC of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (SCAS), Kodakara, conducted a one-day field visit to the Aloysian Centre for Kole Wetland Studies and Research at St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, on February 6, 2025, as part of the Kole Wetland Day celebration. A total of 17 students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of B.Sc. Geology, along with two faculty members from the Department of Geology, participated in the field visit. Mr. Jain J. Therattil, Centre Coordinator and Assistant Professor of the Aloysian Centre for Kole Wetland Studies and Research, accompanied the team as the field guide. He provided insightful explanations about the Kole Wetlands, their ecological significance, and the unique ecosystem they support.
