The Department of Geology, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized the first session of the Alumni Talk Series – AMBER 2025 on 18th August 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Geology Lab (Room No. 332). The topic of the session was “Jam Breaker.” The programme began with a welcome address delivered by Dr. Kuleen Elizabeth Casey, who warmly greeted the gathering. The session then proceeded with the introduction of the speaker, an esteemed alumnus of the Department of Geology. Ms. Neha Binumon (2021 – 2024), provided valuable guidance on how to prepare effectively for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM). Drawing from her own preparation strategies and experiences, she explained key aspects such as time management, study planning, important resources, and effective problem-solving techniques. Her insights were highly motivating and practical, giving the students a clear roadmap for approaching the competitive examination with confidence.
